This month I've been working on an Otome game for Otome Jam 2026. You can romance cute teachers~ I love teacher characters so much. It's one of my favorite character types (Onizuka, Ginpachi Sensei, Itoshiki, etc.)

My boyfriend has been playing YuGiOh with me, and it's so fun. I love Kaiba, so I drew him lol. I was really into the anime in middle school but the card game was too hard for me. The other YGO series also look really cool. I wanna get back into it T_T omg I feel like a little kid again.

I always feel weird every time someone talks to me about anime and they're like "yeah I've been into it since I was 8" or something, like it's a flex. I only got into it around 12-13, because I was pretty sheltered as a kid and have always felt like I live under a rock because of it. My parents would've never shown me anime because they thought it was all hentai lol. I was raised on scooby-doo, duck tales, gummy bears and my little pony (all the 80s versions) because my parents are so obsessed with things from their childhood that they wanted me to watch it too. Also shera and heman. My dad had a huge display case in our basement with heman and simpsons action figures and he would let me play with them.

I've been trying to read some classic books, or more novels because I've only read manga for a few years and I feel like it has damaged my reading skills. But the books I pick are so boring. That, or I'm incapable of understanding what I read anymore. I really liked Kokoro by Natsume Soseki. It's deffo my favorite book now. I strongly recommend it.

I’m doing Art Fight this year, so I’ve been working on character references. My friend gifted me a drawing tablet, which I’m so grateful for! I’m using this as a way to force myself to practice digital art. I’ve always wanted to join, but I felt that my art wasn’t good enough (It really wasn’t, hah). Drawing people's ocs is so fun! ^^

So…I make visual novels. I took a 5-ish month break from making games, and haven’t worked on anything since January. I made my first game in 2024, but I fell in love with the medium around 2022-2023. They're so cool, and really fun (might write reviews here?). I’m a slow reader, and have finished 19 games (currently reading Hakuoki). My favorites are Clannad, Fate/Stay Night, and Sukisho!

Anyway, I think I’m ready to start working on a new game. I got really burnt out from my last one, which took me two years to finish. I put everything I had into it, and I’m not satisfied with the result. It’s pretty bad…but hey, I was still learning! It was definitely a huge learning experience for me, and I know how to use Ren’Py much better now. My art has also improved a lot.

I’m still working on the visual novels page, but it’ll be up soon! I want to have links to my games and be able to talk about my process, link to my devlogs, and stuff.

I haven't written a blog in a long time...I have so much to say. I love to draw.

I mostly do traditional art. I love filling sketchbooks and decorating the covers. I've finished 12 sketchbooks so far (I think??). I started drawing regularly when I was 9, which was when I got my first sketchbook. I don't do much digital art, which makes me sad because I want to share my art online, but it's hard to gain a following by posting only traditional art. That's why I was thinking about doing sketchbook tours on YT but umm...I'm kinda shy.

Last summer, I started a Hetalia fan art account on Instagram, and it did pretty well. Finding a small group of people who loved my art was so new and exciting for me. But I got bored drawing only Hetalia, so I stopped posting there for a long time. I really love Hetalia, though, and I want to focus on improving my digital art.

Hetalia is so fun! I love series that focus on male characters like Utapri, Golden Kamuy, the Prince of Tennis, etc. I like them better than shoujo tbh. When there's a large group of guys and no romance, I feel more connected to them. They don't exist only to fulfill a romantic fantasy, so they have to be interesting on their own, yk?

Anyways, here's this Alfred art I did today. I love using pencil texture brushes and making the colors soft. It looks so yummy -v-

I know it's sooo basic for him to be my favorite, but idc. I love cheerful, dumb guys, and he's exactly that.

My other Hetalia favorites are Germany, Sweden, Estonia, Prussia, and Finland.
